They leave you so enjoy every minute. Don’t hold so tight because they leave you. They take flight and run so fast you cannot catch up. They leave you for something different, something they think is better. They leave you with a wound so deep and just when you think it’s been properly bandaged it begins to seep and only becomes more raw over time. And even when they begin to enter into your world once more, it never feels the same. Each encounter seems to make the scab fall and the wound opens once more. The pain never really lessens and the numbing overtakes you. Sometimes you wonder if the wound is even there until it opens up so wide that nothing can fill it or you just dump so much garbage inside that you don’t even notice the wound but instead begin to smell a stinch so strong you can’t begin to remember that they even left.
